This is to notify that Howa Sangyo Co., Ltd. has completed construction on a new factory building that had been under construction inside the Narashino factory grounds (in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture) for some time.

The new factory building incorporates mechanization and automation in several areas, thereby reducing the burden on employees and ensuring safety, and aiming for further improvement in productivity.

As an increase in the number of single-person households and women's social advancement has resulted in the expansion of the ready-made meal market, and needs for food packaging materials are on the rise, the production capacity standard at the Narashino factory – which is our flagship factory for “daily items”* packaging materials – will be raised, and an improvement to our competitive power as a supplier will be made.

We will continue to support the distribution of various products through the stable supply of packaging materials, making further contributions to society.
