1967 Main factory (currently the Narashino factory) in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture completed
1979 4-floor main office building at Narashino, Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture newly constructed / Subsidiary (Kansai Howa Sangyo Co., Ltd) established (currently the Fukuoka branch & Fukuoka factory)
1986 Toyo Chemical Packaging Inc. purchased, making it a subsidiary
1995 Hikata factory in Katori-gun (currently Asahi City), Chiba Prefecture completed / Merged with subsidiary Toyo Kako Packaging Co., Ltd.
1998 Became a fully-owned subsidiary of Rengo Co., Ltd.
2003 Design office (currently Tokyo design office) established at Daimon in Minato-ku, Tokyo
2006 Design office (currently Tokyo design office) moved and expanded to Kojimachi in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
2007 Acquired New GIS Grande Co., Ltd. as a fully-owned subsidiary / Shanghai branch office opened (Shanghai, China) / Capital increased to 500 million yen
2009 Subsidiary New GIS Grande Co., Ltd. absorbed in merger / Taiwan branch opened (Taipei, Taiwan)
2010 Shanghai branch office changed to Howa (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
2012 New main office constructed at Narashino, Funabashi City, Chiba / New laminate facility at Hikata factory completed
2013 Thailand branch office opened
2015 Invested in TC flexible packaging Co. Ltd. (Thailand) / Waste heat recovery facility installed at the Kyoto factory
2016 Taiwan branch office changed to Howa Taiwan Co., Ltd.
2017 Established Howa Matai Packaging (Thailand) Co., Ltd. / Taoyuan factory completed in Taoyuan City, Taiwan
2020 Opened Kanto Logistics Center in Chiba
2021 Established HOWA Packaging, Inc. (America) as a subsidiary / Opened Kansai Logistics Center in Osaka and relocated Osaka branch
