1962 Founded in Sumida-ku, Tokyo
1967 Main factory (currently the Narashino factory) in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture completed
1979 4-floor main office building at Narashino, Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture newly constructed Subsidiary (Kansai Howa Sangyo Co., Ltd) established (currently the Fukuoka branch & Fukuoka factory)
1986 Toyo Chemical Packaging Inc. purchased, making it a subsidiary
1995 Hikata factory in Katori-gun (currently Asahi City), Chiba Prefecture completed / Merged with subsidiary Toyo Kako Packaging Co., Ltd.
1998 Became a fully-owned subsidiary of Rengo Co., Ltd.
2003 Design office (currently Tokyo design office) established at Daimon in Minato-ku, Tokyo
2006 Design office (currently Tokyo design office) moved and expanded to Kojimachi in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
2007 Acquired New GIS Grande Co., Ltd. as a fully-owned subsidiary / Shanghai branch office opened (Shanghai, China) / Capital increased to 500 million yen
2009 Subsidiary New GIS Grande Co., Ltd. absorbed in merger / Taiwan branch opened (Taipei, Taiwan)
2010 Shanghai branch office changed to Howa (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
2011 Beijing office of Howa (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. established
2012 New main office constructed at Narashino, Funabashi City, Chiba / New laminate facility at Hikata factory completed
2013 Thailand branch office opened
2015 Invested in TC flexible packaging Co. Ltd. (Thailand) / Waste heat recovery facility installed at the Kyoto factory
